Architecural Pool Expansion

Indoor Pool Architecture Indoor Pool Architecture

About This Project

Project made for a client, wanting a new small pool for their youngest swimming talent. The focus was replicating and modernizing architectural key points from the main pool while linking it to the site between the indoor and outdoor activity areas. The solution became mimicking the roof structure, with north-facing windows in the folds, and expanding the design down the side of the building. In the vertical part of the folds, windows turn south, linking the new pool building with the outdoor poor area, while the facade towards the old pool, copies the glass shapes, but plays around with patterns.
